Meet Team Nthusia, the two-person studio behind Fusion Karts, Fusion Golf, Fusion Impostor, and Food Fusion, whose Discord prototype caught Photon's attention and launched a multi-year sample partnership.
Standard webhooks for Photon Fusion and Quantum are now free in both Public and Premium Cloud, covering session validation, player join/leave logging, remote replay capture, and match-result reporting to external backends.
Photon's AWE 2024 demos use Fusion networking to sync virtual sticky notes and 3D drawings across Meta Quest and Apple Vision Pro, supporting both remote cross-platform collaboration and same-room colocalized sessions.
Fusion Starter packages three Unity multiplayer samples on Photon Fusion: a third-person controller using Simple KCC, a coin-collecting platformer with RPC nameplates, and a shooter using Fusion's Lag Compensation.
Photon Fusion's Area of Interest sample demonstrates bandwidth-saving AoI alongside Multi-Peer Mode, letting developers spin up multiple test clients, or host multiple game sessions, from a single Unity instance.
Photon raised its free tier from 20 to 100 concurrent users for both Fusion and Quantum apps, covering development and soft launch, activated in one click from the Photon Dashboard on one app per studio.
